On a Southern Evening

With the advent of fall, the evenings, relatively cool and without the burdensome levels of summer humidity, are bringing me around to the notion that the South has its charms, especially away from the lights of the town.

Maybe it is just the lingering effect of the fever which has afflicted me the past few days and from which I am just recently recovered, but perhaps a year or two here won't be so terrible should that prove my fate in the realm of employment.
